Rádio Tabajara - A Blend of Tradition and Contemporary Music
Rádio Tabajara is a radio network consisting of two stations, AM 1110 and FM 105.5, based in João Pessoa, the capital of Paraíba. With its origins dating back to 1937, Rádio Tabajara holds the distinction of being the 17th oldest radio station in Brazil and the oldest in Paraíba.
The AM station focuses on news and sports programs, boasting a team of seasoned journalists and sports enthusiasts. With a total of 30 programs, 60% of which are music-based and 30% dedicated to journalism, Rádio Tabajara caters to a diverse range of interests. The station also serves educational and cultural purposes, promoting national and regional culture while providing visibility to various social groups and supporting independent productions.
On the other hand, Tabajara FM offers a different programming approach, primarily featuring adult contemporary music, with a strong emphasis on MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) and local artists. This unique blend of music sets it apart from other radio stations in Paraíba.
Both stations are part of a larger network called Rede Tabajara Sat, which encompasses over 20 stations across Paraíba, ensuring that Rádio Tabajara reaches listeners throughout the entire state.
